1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Ashley Calendar AI ("Ashley", "the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ashley is an intelligent calendar management assistant that helps you:

• Interpret scheduling requests you provide (e.g., via the web app or supported integrations)
• Check availability and propose meeting times
• Create or update calendar events when you instruct it to do so
• Learn lightweight scheduling preferences from your actions over time

No email/mailbox access: Ashley does not request email mailbox permissions and does not read or store email bodies.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To use Ashley, you must:

• Have a valid account with a supported identity/calendar provider (e.g., Google or Microsoft)
• Grant necessary permissions for calendar access (and optional contacts read-only access, where applicable)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Ashley only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to send spam or malicious content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
• Share your account credentials with others

5. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using Ashley, you acknowledge that:

• Ashley will access your calendar data transiently to provide scheduling services
• Ashley may store request/response records to operate and improve the service
• You can revoke access permissions at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings

6. AI Features and Important Limitations

Ashley uses AI to interpret requests and propose actions. AI output can be incorrect or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing important details (participants, times, time zones, locations) before relying on the outcome.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee:

• 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers
• That the service will meet all your specific requirements

8. Intellectual Property

Ashley Calendar AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashley Calendar AI shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from service interruptions or errors
• Actions taken based on calendar data, scheduling metadata, or AI-generated suggestions

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ashley is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Ashley immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws
• Fraudulent or harmful activity

You may terminate your use at any time by revoking access permissions in your Google or Microsoft account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date

Continued use of Ashley after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
